This globe reminds me of a hamster on a hamster wheel. I actually tried to climb in this tube but at five foot, nine inches; I was a little too tall. The children love this inflatable. We took two of the Nuclear Globes on a camping trip Memorial Day weekend. We had close to twenty five people in our group; about nine of the twenty five were kids. We made a deal with the children that if they would help with setting up the tents, they could go play in the water with the trampoline and the globes. That was all the incentive those kids needed. They were doing circles around the adults trying to get the tents put up as quickly as possible. Once they had the tents up, we inflated the globes and off to the water they went. We had learned from previous years that there was an old ski course in one of the coves that people rarely went to. We were camping right off the shore line. The kids use the old ski course as a tournament of sorts. Who over can get to the end of the course first, bumping in to the least amount of buoys wins first place. Like I said, this is a tournament; so this actually goes on for quite some time. Time after time, two of the children will race and who ever wins each race stays in the running. Then the winners start racing each other and finally, only one can be the true winner. In our campground, who ever wins first place in the Nuclear Globe tournament gets the first smore. I know what you are thinking. After all the effort, time and energy put in to winning that contest; it seems like an awfully small prize. The truth is, the kids enjoy it so much they really don't need a prize. It is really just an added bonus! Another great thing the kids enjoy doing is bumping in to each other. They will face each other about ten feet apart, and once the observer says go or blows the whistle, they start running towards each other. Basically, who ever is left standing is the winner, and they receive a smore. There have been many great times at the lake with the Nuclear Globes!
