This tubing adventure is probably the funniest experience I have personally had on a tube. Alex, Luke, Ashley and I took this tube to the lake and it was the first tube Ashley or I had ever been on. We were both a little nervous with it being our first time and all, but we bravely eased into the water and climbed on the tube. We leaned back against the back rests, grabbed on to the handles and prepared for our first tube experience. They started the boat, put it in drive and took off. Next thing you know, the tube kind of bogged down and a wave of water literally engulfed us. We were under water! Alex not being the type to give up decided to try it again. Ash and I looked at each other with a little more fear than we had started out with, and braced for another dousing. He did not disappoint us. A few seconds in to it, another wave of water engulfed us and under the water we went again. This time they decided to un-hook us from the boat and test the boat to see what the problem was. So, Ashley and I were floating around in the Speedzone 2 in the middle of the lake while Alex and Luke took off around the lake to test the boat. Well, they came back after a couple of minutes and decided to give it one more try. We all knew what to expect, and sure enough within a couple of seconds; we were engulfed again with a wave of water. We realized the boat had a bad spark plug, so Jason went to get one of the Jet Skis. Within seconds, Ashley and I were all over the place. We were skipping across the water, popping over wakes, and sliding from side to side of the ski. With the seating the way it was, we were able to stay in the tube for a long time. When we were done, we simply started waving like crazy ladies and he stopped to let us off. Oddly enough, Alex and Luke both refused to let Ashley or I pull them on this tube. I guess they thought we might try to do some bodily harm to them since they almost drowned us...three times! Ash and I are really not the type to get mad; we get even. Looking back, it was probably a good decision on their part not to climb on board the Speedzone. Really, we had a great time! This was a great two person tube once we got going with it.
