This tube was one of our number one sellers, so of course we had to give it a try. The Speedzone 1 is one of the most comfortable tubes on the market in my opinion. Not only does it have a cushioned seat, but it also has a back rest. That is my kind of tube. Well, as with tradition, I prepared to go first. How ever, something was different this time. This was the first tube that any of the other girls wanted to ride first. I was usually the guinea pig, but I suppose they thought this one looked "easy". Sarah and Liz played paper, rock, scissor about twenty times to see who got to go first. Finally, Sarah claimed she won and jumped in the water. Once she settled in the tube, she gave me a big smile and a thumbs up (that is our "I'm ready" signal). So, off we went. We threw her around and around, and I am pretty sure the people on the other side of the lake heard her squeal. Once we finally unseated her, and believe me it took a few minutes, she climbed back on board. She absolutely loved it. This one is by far one of her favorites, and even if I had not ridden it myself, I would have to take her word for it. She made it look like so much fun! Actually, she made it look so fun, I had to jump in. It is hard to explain this tube. Really, I had a great sense of security even though I was going side to side at what seemed like a ridiculous speed, although everyone assured me we were well within the recommended towing speeds. With that seat and backrest, I was able to stay in the tube a lot longer than I normally would have been able to in any other tube. I would even feel comfortable letting my kids ride this one by themselves (that is, as long as their dad behaved himself while driving the boat). The Speedzone 1 was a great single rider tube!
