The Gyro inflatable tube is made to spin! This towable tube is a modern replacement for the famous Twister and the later Orbit that Sportsstuff made for many years. The difference is that the Gyro spinning tube spins even better! This boat tube comes standard with a swivel action tow system which allows the rope to swivel on the tube. This allows the Gyro inflatable to spin over and over and over again. Also the newer bullet shape and semi enclosed front allow for more aerodynamics and less drag. This towable tube is perfect for the boater who is looking for a new water sports activity. This spinning tube is sure to give you a different tubing experience.
This Sportsstuff tube is quite the ride and is not for the faint of heart. Its spinning motion will have you gliding across the water at bullet speed. At first, I was a little concerned about riding this tube. It can look some what intimidating. However, I have never been one who backs down from a challenge, and believe me, this tube looked challenging. At least it looked challenging as far as my stomach was concerned! Luckily, I had not eaten yet or we would have been in trouble. Rather than my usual belly flop in the water, I slowly climbed down the ladder in to the water. I felt like some one walking the plank. I crawled in to the tube, grabbed on to the handles and closed my eyes. Really, closing your eyes is not a smart move, particularly in this tube. It was a whole lot of fun once we got going. This tube literally spins you round and around from side to side. One second my stomach was facing down towards the water, the next it was facing the sky. This was continuous! Round and around and around, side to side, spinning and spinning. Again, once the ride was over, I said a quick but grateful thanks that I had not eaten; climbed out of the tube, back to the ladder and wobbled on board the boat. Talk about loosing your sea legs! I have to say, this tube was a great, and unique ride! I can honestly say, I have never seen anything like it!
