Scrambler Halfpipe
[53-2165]
$339.95
Scrambler Half Pipe by Sportsstuff Model 53-2165

96-inch diameter

The Scrambler Half Pipe is a great choice for a four person inflatable. This multi-rider towable is one of many great boat tube choices; however this Half Pipe is a number one choice for many. This four-person tube is enormous in size and still maintains the incredible action that's characteristic of the Half-Pipe series! Be amazed as this monster jumps the wakes and zooms across the water. This tube is fully covered; it has four EVA foam body pads, and has handles all over it. Ride in the prone position, kneeling, sitting, sideways, or mix it up! Then, when you're exhausted from the wild rides, tie it to a dock and use it as a water lounge or swim island. This tube provides great fun for all!

We usually take most of the tubes to the lake to do a water test with them. This is one of the tubes we took with us on our company picnic. We had taken several boats, jet skis and multiple tubes to be able to accommodate the amount of people who were coming to the lake for the outing. The Half Pipe series were a great choice. The majority of the time, the Frantic Half Pipe or the Scrambler Half Pipe were being used. With the Scrambler being a four person tube, we were able to really let more people be involved in the activities rather than just watch. The first group of four out on the Scrambler included Alex, Luke, Tom and Chris. They rode and rode and rode that tube! We simply could not get them to get off. We tried slinging them off (of course) but it didn't work for all of them. The first time Alex was able to stay on, but everyone else was thrown off. The second time Alex, Luke and Chris all three stayed on. The third time, everyone fell off except for Tom. The rule is that as long as one person remains on the tube, it is still their turn. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so off to the cove we went. Many in the group were riding the jet skis in the cove so the water was a mess. That was exactly what the situation called for. The riders on the jet skis understood what was about to happen, and so did the brave men on the tube. When the jet skis cleared the area, we took the boat around the cove a couple of times to make the water nice and choppy. Once it looked like the water would fulfill the purpose of dislodging our stubborn riders, we took the boat around once more and slung them right into the choppy waves. It only took twice around and all four of them came off. You really have to give them credit though; they stayed on for quite some time considering how hard we were trying to sling them off. Of course, when it was their turn to drive they were definitely set on revenge. There was no down time when I rode; it was around and around constantly until we were thrown off. This tube was a lot of fun for our group and we will definitely take it out again.
