Thrash Half Pipe by Sportsstuff Model 53-2150
60-inch diameter
The Thrash Half Pipe is a multi-rider inflatable tube that you and your friends will have a blast on! Semi-winged design & plenty of grab handles equals stunt water sports action to the extreme. The Sportsstuff Half Pipe Thrash Ski Tube is designed with the tow wake in mind. This boat tube is a must have! Whether you lie face down, sit down or kneel, you're sure to thrash the waves. This towable tube is designed to thrash every wake and wave that gets in its way, the Sportsstuff Half Pipe Thrash Stunt Ski Tube has eight foam grip handles dispersed all around the seating area. This way you have plenty of angles to attack the half pipe wake that comes your way as the tow boat tubing speed rises. Super stable semi-winged design gobbles up wakes and you can sit, kneel or lay face down and forward for plenty of different high flying tubing stunts.
This was one of the hottest tubes to come out this summer, so we definately had to see what all the fuss was about. It didn't take long for us to realize how much fun this tube really was. This is one of my favorite single rider tubes. We had a great time at the lake on the Thrash. I think there were probably five of us that took the boat out on that particular day. We usually take three to four tubes out each time we do a water test, but we definately rode this tube the most. Every one took a turn on this tube. That was pretty impressive because most of the time, one or two of the people with us doesn't ride the tubes. I was the first to ride the rampage and I had a blast. I jumped the wakes almost every time I would cross them. I "wrecked" it a couple of times because I was trying to do a flip. I succeeded; unfortunately I succeeded in flipping upside down. Oh well, some times that's just the way it goes. I probably would not have been so disappointed if Luke and Alex had not been able to go all the way around. I prefer to think of it as it was my driving that made it possible for them to flip. I was able to throw each of them off the tube a couple of times. Of course, I am leaving out the part that it was at the end of the day after they had both ridden so much they were absolutely exhausted. It made me happy though. Tony is another one I enjoy watching when he gets on a tube; he is so small, he really gets thrown around. He loves it though, so really it is fun for the whole group. He was able to do a lot more tricks and it seemed like he was getting more distance each time we went from side to side. By the end of the day, we were all worn out but very excited. Every one had such a great time on this tube so it is definitely going to be added to our collection! From now on, this tube will be on reserve; which means we will take it with us each time we go to the lake.
